Hi, I'm Helen and I am a piano and music theory teacher based in the beautiful town of Stamford. I've been playing the piano since I was 7 years old and it's my mission to inspire others to experience the joy of making music.

I cover all musical styles, so whether you prefer Bach or Beyonce, we can find music that you will love to play.
I teach all ages, and firmly believe that is is never too late to become a musician!
My lessons can prepare you for exams or just support you in finding the fun in music making. Whatever your musical dreams may be, I will tailor my lessons to help you achieve them.
Piano and music lessons for children
Alongside my piano experience, I am also a qualified primary school teacher. I understand how children learn and develop, and how to keep them engaged and excited about their learning.
I offer piano lessons to students from the age of 7, but can also teach general musical skills to younger children.
Piano lessons for adults
Learning to play the piano is a life goal for many people, yet few actually take the step to make their dreams become reality.
Or maybe you used to play but regret giving up and letting your skills grow rusty!
Whatever your reasons for wanting to learn the piano. I will help you to confidently play the music you love.
Music theory
Music theory can be intimidating, but fear not! I weave theory into lessons in a way that is easy to grasp and relevant to your practical progress.
However, I can also provide lesson that are 100% theory if required, These can be helpful if you are preparing for an exam or just wish to fast-track your understanding.
Flexible scheduling
I understand that life is busy! I teach both during the day and in the early evening, and will do my best to offer a lesson time to suit you.
I offer lessons from 30 minutes to 1 hour to accommodate time constraints and attention spans!
